Memramcook vs Bouctouche - preview

The East division best of seven final will start this Friday in Bouctouche. Midway into the season, Bouctouche seemed like a big favorite straight to the league's final. Memramcook kept a few surprises in their bag for late in the season and showed what they were made off in the first round.

Bouctouche had the best record with 33 points while Memramcook had 20 points. Bouctouche got the edge over Memramcook in the regular season 4-2. Bouctouche also has Jason Rinzler in their rank who finished as the league top scorer. Could you say Bouctouche has a big advantage in this serie ?

Yes is probably not the right answer here. Five of their six regular season match ended up with a one goal margin, the other game was by a two goal margin. Of those four loses, Memramcook had the lead late in a few games but Bouctouche always found a way to come back. Bouctouche record in their last five game is 1-4, while Memramcook is red hot after sweeping Cap-Pele.

This serie should be an action packed one as both teams have a lot of talent in their line-up. Rinzler, Lymburner, Goguen, Lockyer, Cormier, Nicholas, Betournay, Rodier, Glode, Girard, Melanson just to name a few.

The first four games of the serie has been added on the website, the first beeing this Friday in Bouctouche at 8h45. The second game will be played in Memramcook on Sunday at 7PM. You might not want to miss these two games, all the games so far this year between these two teams got decided at the last minute!
